Pause was written by Shawn and Anne Vanderhoven — leadership practitioners who spent decades working with organizations on how great work actually gets done. The 12 Pauses they developed are grounded in that practice: not frameworks derived from research alone, but moves refined through real leadership situations.
PauseTools exists because reading alone rarely changes behavior.
